Hopfully more testing tonight. I am most likely not going to TDT in favor of getting car testing and laps in for tomorrow.
Testing tonight and first lap out of the box with the RX8 I ran a very low 41 I then crept in to the high 40s. This is two seconds faster than the FTO with all its tuning and hours of practice. So I will be moving to the RX8 starting tomorrow.

Slight change in track this week. Nelson ledges was not really drivable. The model was a bit lacking in detail.

There is a lot more of the track in place than I realized. Too bad, it can not be brought back. Even if you had to run muffled events it would be a really fun/cool place to race.

That's closer to what I was expecting. It's so easy to gain and lose time at this track, or more specifically trade it between corners and complexes that getting the right sequence can make huge differences in lap time. Those who haven't spent much time here I highly recommend getting some practice in beforehand.

I did not do it. It was done in the rx7. My HC has me in the 2:05 range.
I think this one is going to be a drop for me. Maybe I can at least log on to start and lose my handicap :)
All the top dogs in the series are now getting pulled back and the rest of the field will tighten up to them. This is exactly what we are trying to have happen. This series is going to get really interesting as we start the second half of the season. I really think that all of the regulars have a chance at the top three spots. At this point I would not be willing to bet on who is going to win this. This is most likely going to come down to the last race.

I know you are competitive and all but you can have some great racing while not being at the pointy end of the race. Up until last week I think my best finish has been third. But I have had some epic battles with lots of people.
Oh one other thing. I just wanted to say that the race craft you all have is top notch. I don't have any issues going side by side into any corner with anyone. I think all of us have really upped our game. It os part learning the game but it is that everyone has got so much better at driving in traffic.

Yeah I would happily race mid pack, I just have plans this Wednesday. The smart move would be to still start the race so I can drop a dead body from the trunk though :)
