Looking to upgrade the putter

That actually looks like a good deal. Great processor, big HD and a lot of memory.

Yeah, not too bad. I am usually more gun shy about used PCs than I am about used cars though. Are you planning any heavy gaming? If so, that graphics card is a bit lackluster but will work alright if you arent planning on doing anything too crazy.

As usual, if you build it yourself it will be better for cheaper.

My budget is $700 and I can't seem to figure where I can go a little cheaper here is my current estimated build

Puter build I am not a bigger game other then playing racing games.

Go with a 500w power supply, a gtx 1050 ti, and a core i5 cpu (need to research which one. You won't need a cpu fan as most come with one that is plenty for 99 percent of people.

This plus $90 for Windows and a gtx 1050 ti puts you right at 700ish, will play all the racing games you want and be relatively powerful for several years. 8gb of ram is good enough for the time being.

What about a AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz 8-Core OEM/Tray Processor ?

I just looked at your full build a few posts back and it is very similar to what I built. (Check my sim rig build thread below) I think I ended up with that same or similar motherboard after having issues with the first one I was sent.

I went with i5 6600 3.3ghz processor. I am using a 720p 34" TV instead of a monitor, so the resolution that's looking most crisp is somewhere between 720p and 1080p.

I am pulling 200fps on assetto corsa with everything cranked up to the max. So good. Fallout 4 is also butter smooth on ultra settings.

Honestly I was going for a $800 build and ended up around $1000. I consider it future proofing

Everyone told me go with Intel processor if you can afford it. If you decide to go amd make sure your motherboard choice is compatible.

If you really want an AMD I'd wait a few months. They just started mentioning that they're bringing out new processors in spring with much better performance for the money. At the moment, AMD isn't really competitive in the performance stakes. I used to pretty much only build AMD-based machines for myself, but ended up switching to Intel a couple of years ago simply because I couldn't get the performance out of a similarly priced AMD box. Not to mention that for the last few years the higher performance AMD CPUs are power hogs that require more cooling (read more noise) than Intel ones.

I run an AMD FX8350. I don't have anything really to say about it though, it is plenty for what I do and I haven't hit its ceiling just yet.
