Damn, that's messed up. All those people with their new consoles for Christmas can't play online...

Xbl was running, at least when I was on. Seemed to be specific outages with GTAO, but that could be because stupid rockstar....
It mostly affected the PS4 and XBone. Aside from the store being down, my ps3 was online most of the time I had it on. I was even playing minecraft online when the network was supposedly down.
My friend with a ps4 couldn't sign in at all though.
yeah my XB360 worked fine everytime I tried it.
Just picked up a PS4 for SWMBO and yeah it a kind of a E36 M3ty feeling when you can't even play one of your brand new games (Destiny) without logging in, luckily the evil within plays fine without the PSN.
Both ps3s we have were not able to log in for most of the day.
I got Chuck a PS3, and he was not able to create his PSN account yet, so he is unable to sign in yet either.
berkeleying PSN is still timing out. It's been unreachable since the xmas eve.
My kid saved up for 5 mos to buy himself a PS4. I gave him the last bit of cash he needed to get it for Christmas a little early so he could have it under the tree. He hasn't been able to play the only game that came with it because it has no offline mode (Destiny).
He is learning about "First World" problems today.
My XBL is up and running as of right this second. I know PSN is far less stable, so this is not surprising.
Sucks. I want to pick up a couple of PS4 games from the flash sale but the damn thing will be over before the network comes back at this rate.
Yeah it seems that PSN service is luck of the draw. If you get logged in you won't get kicked off. But sometimes you can't get logged in. So you have to keep trying.
I've had zero luck getting in to psn all day. I had to move media center duties to the wii u because i can't even log into hulu on the playstation.
I guess the unofficial word is that Sony decided to shutdown to engineer and stand up countermeasures to try and prevent future attacks like this being successful.
Microsoft rumored to have shifted other servers used for other online products to get xbox to work sometimes.
This sucks. But then criminal minds all seem to suck.

Kids these days don't have enough wait time experience. Mine included.
Psn was down for me for about an hour- but we got it back, I still haven't had an xbl problem.
I would have never noticed if my wife hadn't called me to ask what the hell was going on. I know lizard squad torpedoed the system, but I think the attack ended early this morning.
I had some issues with GTAO on xbl.....so I knocked out Assassin's Creed Rouge in the last few days. I just bought it Tuesday. 
PSN seems to finally be back up. I guess it worked out for the best because I wanted to download Dragon Age during the flash sale but found someone selling a physical copy of it on craigslist for $8 less during the outage. Bonus points since I can sell it when I'm done.
