YMMV: Extremely cheap display TV's at Target (not a canoe!)

Just picked up a 40" Magnavox 1080p LED TV (model: 40ME324V/F7) for $62. It was a display marked "as-is" for $90. They couldn't find the base or remote so they marked it down to $62 when I asked. Here's the Amazon link for it:

$300 off seemed nice to me. They had a couple of other display TV's on clearance as well.

Nice grab. I plan on doing that when I upgrade TVs in the near future. Nothing like open box/clearance TVs at almost 50% off.

I live in a college town, and know there can be some great used deals when the students head home. My kid got a 53" TV for $100 a couple years back.
