Just before the world ended I bought a '99 Miata from my friend for autocross, and we replaced the slave and master cylinders, clutch and pressure plate but kept the flywheel. I spent 3 hours bleeding the system and the slave cylinder has its full extension. Everything separates as it should, but the clutch pedal is very light. I've driven it about 150 miles since we did the work and it shifts fine. The only thing I need to do is recalibrate the clucth pedal to get some excessive free play out at the top of the range. Does anybody have any ideas on why the pedal would be so light but work just fine? I also replaced the curly clutch line with a stainless steel clutch line during this job too.
