My toolbox is generally a wasteland of mess.  I try to keep it organized and I fail.   Let's talk about simple low/no cost tool organization.   The best thing I've got that has stuck with me for several years now is screwdriver organization.

Philips=handle to the left

Flat=handle to the right

All other screwdriver type things live behind these by my hand me down collectible snap on screwdriver set my Dad never opened that I'm not about to open.  I realize handle color typically works but not all brands are the same color and this makes it brainless to grab the right kind and put them back.

What you got?  Any other great simple cheap ideas I need to engrain in my brain?

I don't have much help to offer.  My toolbox is a god-awful disaster.  I'm trying to get better, though.  This was today's effort:

I like how the Tekton rails come in red and black.  I'm doing red for metric and black for SAE which I think is their default.
