We all know about the double-wrench trick for loosening stuck nuts, but how many of you know about this double-screwdriver trick for loosening stuck screws?

I didn't either, until Martin Szwarc of ProjectCRX.Racing showed me that you can stick a second screwdriver into the hanger hole of your hardware store screwdriver and use it like a T-handle to loosen stuck screws. This lets you apply 3x-5x the amount of turning torque that you normally could without the need for power tools or an impact driver.

Just don't use this trick to tighten any screws, or you'll never get them out. Ask me how I know.

If you buy quality screwdrivers, they have a bolster built into them that you can put a wrench on.
