not really that's why I'm putting this out there. We need a GRM build party. I need to know what works. The last 2 weekends of August are out.
what I need help with, besides the work? there are 2 donor cars in Sarver, PA that need to come here. Here is the greater Cleveland area. I am planning to go grab one of them soon, but would love to not have to make 2 trips.
what we need to do? I have a no rust California body of a 92ish escort wagon that was converted to electric. It's an automatic car and all the internal combustion infrastructure was removed. Slowbird has a no rust wrecked escort sedan that I plan on being able to donate fuel system, lines, clean fasteners, anything that needs to be in good shape, hvac system, etc. She also has a rusty but runs/moves(no brakes) Escort GT with a 5 speed manual that is the engine/trans/axles/pedals donor.
What I really need? To get the 2 donors removed of everything that needs removed and install it onto the wagon and make that thing run in a weekend or two. Because of space constraints (read as I have a lot of cars) this will likely all take place on the cement pad in front of my shop. We need to make sure both donors can either roll or load one then make it not roll so I'm not left with a couple immovable hulks.
who wants to help and when are you available so we can plan something legit?
My brain says labor day weekend is a decent idea?
This sounds even more ridiculous reading it than talking about it.
I'm in, obviously, but doubt I'll be able to get the human engine hoist, he apparently has a girlfriend now on top of constant gym time, working on marksmanship etc getting ready for the academy this fall.
Definitely in as long as I'm in town.
Who is this slowbird character? Sounds like a real piece of work. 
Seriously though, I greatly appreciate anyone who is able to help with this. I certainly can't do it on my own (that's why we're in this situation and by this situation I mean me owning multiple cars that don't work)
Labor day weekend seems fine to me.
Where in the Cleveland area? I'm west of there so Lorrain is a lot closer than Streetsboro.
I'm also up for paying gas costs/travel costs to anyone who has a trailer in order to get these things towed over to Patrick's. And buying lunch/dinner/whatever when we're working.
I feel that all 3 should be dragged down to Gainesville in late October for the swap...
We've got plans in place to get the two cars moved to Pat's house the weekend before Labor Day.

Is one of the donors the green car I had for a bit and hauled to AxeHealey's place? Get your tetanus shots up to date, lol.
I'd be in to help make this happen but we're having a baby any day now, so I'm kinda required to stay close to home.

That's the one lol. The engine/trans from that car are the best part left of it and hopefully the only part we need, the other one should be able to provide much less rusty parts like the gas tank etc...

i've cleaned up my scrap pile and should be able to get a good work space ready. I am planning to get my trailer fixed before labor day weekend so we can load up the rusty donor after we get everything out that we need that way if it has to be made a non roller we can roll it up first then remove the rolly bits. I don't know the fate of the wrecked LXE yet beyond we need to use it for not rusty bits like lines and fuel system, but since it's a running BP i would like to grab the engine/harness/computer from it in case I find something that needs a 4 cylinder.
My 2 available sleeping spots are spoken for unless someone wants to pitch a tent on the porch

Dang, it almost looks like a car from that angle. How bad was it to unload? It was pretty reluctant to roll when we first started loading it.

Huge huge thanks to you for getting the cars to Pat's place.
I'm excited for the fun next weekend. (And by fun, I mean lots of work. But hopefully it will be fun work and I learn things.) 
BTW I found a body/engine/electric/whatever service manual I had picked up and threw that inside the silver car so we can refer to it if needed.
T minus 2 days. I'll wash the wagon tomorrow or Saturday morning and get it moved near where it needs to be and get the engine donor spun around. Moved it a couple car lengths with my atv so we should be able to easily move it
