2021 Lexus UX 250h F Sport new car reviews

Lexus says that this one’s “ideally suited to making urban exploring easier in cities around the globe.”

Ours had the F Sport package: 18-inch alloys, upgraded springs and anti-roll bars and some sportier details inside and out. 

Editor’s note: Lexus doesn’t list a torque rating for this model, but our admin requires one so the one listed here is guess.

Another entry into a very crowded segment.

What’s the value proposition here? It is distinctive looking, with the giant grille and unconventional fender treatment, especially around the rear wheels.

And it’s nicely trimmed–typical Lexus.

Power is plenty adequate, too, as it uses Toyota’s popular hybrid setup.

I know we want to mock the F Sport package. Do we need a sporty urban little SUV? Know what, it kinda all works. I could see this being a fun little city car.

More fun than a Mini with a SuperTrapp? Okay, let’s not get crazy, but picture the intended market for this one: Those with the means for something a little special but faced with the reality of, well, city life.

Is it worth nearly $45,000, though? You do pay a price for that big L, but I think it’s one of those things where those who want it, want it.
