Hoping that this is my year.
Say it ain’t so: Despite our best efforts, the $2000 Challenge has been moved one week later, to October 25-26, 2019. What prompted the change? To make a long story short, we weren’t willing to settle when it became apparent that the 2019 running of the $2000 Challenge was going to be bigger than ever.
Our host hotel had a large wedding booked in on top of us on the original date. They assured us that they could make it work, but it became apparent between the lack of enough rooms they could promise, smaller banquet facilities, etc., that we would have a compromised event on that date. So, we moved everything a week later, to October 25-26, 2019.
