This weekend, November 3-6, International GT heads to Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Their previous race in October at Virginia International Raceway attracted the biggest field of cars in the series’ history.

Thursday, November 4, will be a test day, followed by qualifying on Friday, November 5.

Saturday, November 6, will have two races, and Sunday, November 7, will have a 75-minute enduro.

In addition to International GT, the weekend will also have SVRA, Trans Am, Formula 4 and Formula Regional Americas in action.

I hope they brought rain tires, Friday and Saturday are going to be pretty wet. Severe storms forecast for Friday evening. Better tie down those awnings.

I live about 20 minutes from COTA, the SVRA event is my favorite of the year. Cool cars everywhere, open access, hardly any crowds - it's like gearhead heaven.
