What were we doing at the Roar Before the Rolex? Rolling tape. Why’s that? So we can share some videos with you.

Chris (the new guy) and JG (not the new guy) have been busy ramping up our video production. At Daytona, they interviewed Tom O’Gorman while touring the AMG parts hauler, Cadillac DPi racer and the latest Ferrari GT3 car.

Plus they’ve been recording stuff in the shop, testing cars at the track, and talking to people who make our world a better, more interesting place. After you grab some popcorn, you can watch their latest videos here and here.

Are the Wed. night videos going to come back, or have I somehow just been missing them?

We're still going to be doing live shows, and when we do them we're going to try and schedule them on Wednesdays. But at the moment our focus is on shorter form content with more "legs." The live shows were popular... while they were live. Unfortunately they didn't really have the back-end views to justify the time and resource investment, since that investment was coming at the expense of us producing short-form video.

So at the moment we're concentrating on the short-form stuff that's more shareable and helps build our YouTube subscription base (speaking of which, subscribe to our YouTube channel, if you don't already). But we're still planning live shows. I'm actually putting together a show where we'll have viewers send in some data and we'll do live data analyses on the air, which I think will be fun. The live stuff will be biased more toward content that's immediate and interactive, while the pre-recorded stuff will be biased toward evergreen content.

In reply to JG Pasterjak :

Sounds like Wednesday's needed more JG pole dancing for back end views.
