Convertible Top Spring a Leak? There Is an Easy Fix for That

Miata may be the answer, but what’s the answer when that convertible top gets a leak? Thankfully, the fix can be pretty simple.

How simple? You’ll have to read the full step-by-step process over on Classic Motorsports, though we can tell you that all you need is a bit of top material, adhesive and a few minutes in the garage.

On my first Miata with a vinyl top, I used a bicycle innertube patch kit. The black rubber matched things up pretty closely and kept the car dry.

it's nice to see an article covering the right way to do it!
