When the time comes to repair a rusty or damaged door, it usually makes sense to just buy a new one.

But in some cases—like our classic Mini Cooper S project—finding a replacement is not only tricky, but it can also be downright expensive.

Instead, another option is to replace the actual skin of the door. As daunting as that sounds, it isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.
