FIA’s new Hypercar prototype classes–both LMH and LMDh–are now eligible to run in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship starting in 2023.
The agreement comes after the ACO, FIA, IMSA, and “all the manufacturers officially involved in LMDh and LMH programs” met to discuss technical specifications for the new Hypercar racers.
Specifically, the discussions focused on four items: “tire fitment, acceleration profile, braking capability and aerodynamics.”
