Really, I'm just thankful we got a fifth-gen Supra at all. I never really cared that it shared so much with the BMW Z4, it's an amazing car both on and off the track.
My only complaint? The Supra has been holding its value really well.

All things must come to an end, and Toyota announced the end to the Toyota GR Supra with the 2026 MkV Final Edition. The good news is the MkV Final Edition doesn’t seem to be just a regular Supra with a special color and fancy badges on it. It does offer some performance upgrades.
Toyota says the Final Edition will “deliver a more integrated experience not only for circuits but also for the long and winding roads where sports car enthusiasts feel most at home. Improved braking performance, an updated suspension, increased body rigidity, optimized tuning, and enhanced aerodynamic performance inspire confidence and turn up the fun.”
Want more details? Sure. Refined differential control and exclusive control maps. Larger Brembo disc brakes. Revised camber angle for front and rear. Revised electronically controlled shocks. A stronger front stabilizer. Strengthened front control arm rubber bushings, rear subframe rubber mounts and under-body brace. Aero mods, including a ducktail carbon fiber rear spoiler, front wheel arch flaps and higher front tire spats. And optimized electric power steering.
Also, there’s an available option to get a GT4 style pack in the fall, which features mostly aesthetic upgrades, including a GT4-inspired exterior side graphic, matte-finished carbon fiber ducktail rear spoiler, matte-black rear Supra emblem, red mirror caps and two exclusive matte colors: Burnout and Undercover.
Want a stick in your Final Edition? Not a problem. Manual and automatic versions will be available for all 2026 GR Supras. Likewise, all Supras come with an inline-six rated for 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque.
Expect to see the 2026 GR Supra to arrive at dealerships this spring. Production of the fifth-generation GR Supra ends spring 2026.

In reply to Colin Wood :
Agreed. After taking a ride in one, I can't help but want it. And I just know the MkV Final Edition is going to hold value forever.
I want to drive one. From what I've heard it sounds like Toyota made a better BMW, with a BMW! Thanks Toyota.

An SUV that slots in at slightly larger or possibly slightly smaller than the RAV4 but at the same price point?

maybe they will do it like the germans, reduce the usefulness by raking the trunk line and call it a coupe
rav4 coupe?
