Meet our Triple Threat 2019 Mazda MX-5 Club. Why Triple Threat? Because we sought out to build an MX-5 that’s equally adept at autocross, track and comfortable cruising.
Technically, it’s version 2.0 since the true Triple Threat MX-5 was a 2016 Club model, but we replaced that one with this 2019 model in order to get the updated engine.
This newer model MX-5 has that updated engine, so we quickly pressed it into service, though we’ll cover both cars here to keep it easy to read:
