What’s HyperFest like? To sum it up, it’s an all-you-can eat buffet of motorsport and car culture. Road racing. Drifting. Car show. That's just a few of the activities, and if you need a breather from car stuff, there are things such as an air guitar contest. However, unlike a buffet with food, this shouldn’t add much to your waistline and you always seem to have room for more.

What were some of our favorite scenes? Glad you asked.

Is this the modern-day Amphicar? No, it's a boat on an E46 chassis–and it drifts. On the track, not at sea.

Will Schoppman brought a 1989 Toyota Corolla Levin GT-Z. He wanted a five-speed manual, and this was what he found.

If ride-alongs are your thing, you had ample opportunities, including this one. Koni provided the public the first taste of its coil-over GTS setup, which was featured on this Tesla Model 3 from Evannex.

BimmerWorld displayed its latest project, a new BMW M2.

Sometimes, the more interesting sights are what the spectators bring to take in the events.

Vendor row featured plenty of wares to buy, and if you got tired, there were complimentary cans of Monster being handed out.

Love offroading? Don't worry, they had that, too, plus vendors that supported that segment.

Ridetech brought their latest project, too, this Fox-body Mustang with some Roush Yates power under the hood. Yes, that Roush Yates.

Did Initial D cross the sea and come to America? If so, it's not in the drift competition, but instead the NASA event.

At the end of the day, it's just you and your friends, some of which you just met, spending a day in a park, enjoying the sport we all love.

This is only a sampling of all that HyperFest offered. Did you attend this year's event? If so, what were some of your favorite sights? Feel free to post them down below.

Indeed! I'd also like to emphasize that the people in attendance were awesome, too. It didn't matter if you were there for the cars, the competition or the party, everyone just wanted to have fun.
