The Race of Champions pits some of the world’s top drivers against each other in a winner-take-all brawl. Their upcoming Miami event is expected to feature some of the biggest name in motorsports—drivers like Jenson Button, Felipe Massa, Kurt Bush, Travis Pastrana, James Hinchcliffe, Juan Pablo Montoya, Petter Solberg and more.
Social media will pick one driver for the ROC Factor North America team, and two of our friends are in the final cut: Glenn McGee, the iRacing champ who landed a full Mazda MX-5 Cup scholarship thanks to the Mazda Shootout; and automotive journalist Gary Grant, who’s best described as the Canadian version of our own J.G. Pasterjak as they both favor open-toed shoes, cargo shorts and eclectic cars. We need to remain impartial, but we should also note that Gary makes some mean barbecue.
