Wow the Ioniq 5 N can move on a drag strip, that is a lot of car going fast.

Eating quick, cheap food for a week straight doesn’t do your digestive system any favors. Call it an unexpected impact of competing in the Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports.
Despite that, our One Lap team, Tom Suddard and Andy Hollis, carry on the good fight from behind the wheel of their Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.
For Day 6, participants had not one but two venues of competition: hot laps at Pitt Race followed by a drag racing session at Quaker City Motorsports Park.
Despite not pre-running the track this year, both Andy and Tom felt comfortable at Pitt Race. In particular, they appreciated the circuit’s flowing nature that allowed a more aggressive style of attack, including the ability to (controllably) slide the car.
After Pitt Race, it was then on to drag racing–which was back on the schedule for the first time in over five years–at Quaker City Motorsports Park, located southwest of Youngstown, Ohio, a stone’s throw away from Salem, Ohio.
Just how fast is the Ioniq 5 N on the drag strip? It completed the quarter-mile in just 11.15 seconds. (For reference, that’s on par with the likes of the BMW M3 Competition, Mercedes-AMG E63 S and 992-chassis Porsche 911 GT3 RS.)
The team didn’t depart Quaker City until around 8 p.m. That’s when Tom and Andy’s lack of decent sleep caught up with them.
Neither realized that Waze was routing them incorrectly, and the duo soon found themselves trapped in miles of road closures and detours.
Tom and Andy finally reached their hotel around 2 a.m., opting to nap in their Hyundai while it charged.
More tough news from the road: One Lap also claimed another car, as Super K’s engine expired during its second hot lap at Pitt Race just as it was poised to take over the points lead.
Salil Shukla and Christopher Mayfield further padded their lead after winning the bracket drags, meaning the Cayman team has basically led One Lap since the beginning of the event.
And the Charger? It posted low 12s at the drag strip before lasting deep into the bracket racing competition with remarkably consistent runs.
Grattan Raceway is the next stop on the schedule, followed by the end of One Lap at Tire Rack.
I remember when 13 seconds was fast. It's hard to believe that thing can accellerate as well as it does, but I'm hoping that the typical owner won't know it's that fast or drive it like they stole it. As stated by Chris T, that is a lot of car going fast. Hopefully brakes are up to the task of slowing it down. I would hate to see high schoolers taking their mom's Ioniq and driving it aggressively.

Dang a set of drag radials away from being a 10 sec car!
That seems super quick. How did your car/team rank in the drag results? How did it affect your overall placement?
In reply to David S. Wallens :
I still think of 12s as quite quick, to be honest. 11s in a CUV seems absurd!
In reply to bobcroucher :
8th overall in ET, and 3rd round eliminated in the brackets. Didn't really affect our placement this late in the game--we're still in the high-20s overall.
