What car has front-wheel-drive, 528 horsepower and the ability to lap the Nürburgring in less than eight minutes? If you said anything other than the Lynk & Co 03 Cyan Concept, you'd be wrong.

Sure, Nürburgring lap times aren't the be all, end all, but we think it's cool to keep track of the achievements—especially when the 03 Cyan Concept currently holds the Nürburgring records for both the fastest four-door car and fastest front-wheel-drive car at 7:20.143.

We'll forgive you if you haven't heard the name Lynk & Co before since they aren't imported into the United States as of yet. It’s essentially car company that exists under the Geely umbrella, alongside Volvo.

Its models are all based on the same Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform used by the Volvo XC40, and will be sold directly to consumers similar to the way Tesla dishes out its cars.

This concept was built with the help of Cyan Racing, currently Geely's official racing outfit. (Cyan Racing used to be known as Polestar Racing, where they raced and built go-fast parts for Volvo.)

How does the Cyan Concept compare to the production 03? For starters, the concept makes do with a 528-horsepower powerplant, while the most powerful engine available on the production model is a 190-horsepower engine. Adjustable Öhlins dampers, six-piston front brakes and 285/30R20 tires wrapped around proprietary 20-inch wheels also set the Cyan Concept apart from the more pedestrian model.

And yes, it comes finished in "Swedish Racing Green."

Saw these (Cyans) in touring car races last year, and had to look them up. Had no idea they existed, lol!

Wonder what the Type R would have done with that much Horsepower. Even with 415HP from the Hondata fuel upgrade and an ethanol tune I can see it competing with that.

Damn. A FWD car with 285 width tires? Is power steering electric or hydraulic? Or a combo?

That's a hell of a name.

I'm a bit surprised that Cyan Racing doesn't paint their cars, well, cyan.

I wonder how much intellectual property theft went into the R&D and engineering of that car.

That is a weird visual mishmash of a dodge dart, a dodge charger, and a little mustang in the headlights. Derivative, but good looking.  Cool performance. Whats the interior look like is what im now going to seek out.

Those weird lights on top of the fenders ruin it for me. It looks like a Nissan juke.

That's the standard version, not the Cyan Racing version.

It is based on the same platform as the Volvo XC40.

I didn't notice those before. That totally lifts the face up from where a Dodge Dart's would be and makes it more ridiculous than cool. I see a bit of Panamera there.

If I had one I'd body color vinyl over that mistake and return it to its upmodel Dart splendor (which I thought it was in the first place)
