How to build a tube chassis front clip for a G-body | Your Projects

Sure, most of us have heard that removing the rear seats saves weight, but how about replacing the entire front of the chassis with tube frame as a way to add lightness?

That’s just the latest undertaking by forum user Asphalt_Gundam in the quest to build the ultimate G-Body Oldsmobile Cutlass track machine.

Featuring a built Oldsmobile 350 engine, custom fabricated suspension, and lots of added downforce, it’s probably more appropriate to ask what hasn’t been modified on the car at this point.

We did driver's ed in a G-body. Three students and a teacher, all in a Cutlass Supreme. St. Anthony’s was cool before we knew it.
