It was the largest time trial event ever held in North America. 190 drivers logged official times at the second Tire Rack SCCA Time Trial Nationals powered by Hagerty, held at NCM Motorsports Park.

In addition to being larger than the inaugural event, the field was also far more competitive, with no fewer than five drivers turning laps faster than the fastest time set the previous year.

Once again, Chris Ingle drove his Dodge Viper to the top of the overall results sheet, earning an entry into the 2020 Super Lap Battle to be held at Circuit of the Americas in his Hoosier-shod snake.

It was also a good day for GRM project cars as Andy Hollis set a new TT record for the Sport 5 class in his ND2 Miata, and our C5 Z06 ran a lap of 2:11.7 seconds—the fourth fastest lap of the event, en route to a fifth-place overall finish. Our former 2012 Mustang GT project won the Prepped 2 class in the hands of its current owner, Michael Snyder.

In addition to over two hours of lapping time available during the official competition, entrants were also treated to a free test day courtesy of Holley. Holley Performance Day kicked off the weekend with open track sessions and classroom tech presentations from Koni, Hawk Brakes, ApexPro and Racers360, and a guided virtual track walk by pro racer Andy Pilgrim.

I'm only seeing 2 wheels in the air! ;)

Do you know what control arms that Exocet is running up front? They look tubular and red.

Man I wish I would've made it out, Cold Lotion looked to have rocked! Will you have more in depth coverage in the magazine?
