I'm loving the orange. It'll really stand out on track.

There’s no missing this car. Genesis Magma Racing unveiled its Magma orange GMR-001 Hypercar. They will campaign in the World Endurance Championship starting in 2026 and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2027.
The design works off the “Athletic Elegance” philosophy of Genesis that seeks to blend Korean heritage with motorsport technology. It also features Genesis Two-Line lighting, which wraps around the front and rear.
“The GMR-001 Hypercar, like every race car, is a sculpture designed by the constraints of efficiency and performance–combined with the design DNA of Genesis–the brand with the Two Lines,” said Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer of Genesis. “The livery is an orchestration of the tension and balance of the distinctly Korean character of the brand with gradients from Magma orange to dark red emphasizing the high temperature of the powertrain. And the color gradients from light to dark of the Magma writing in Hangeul is an optical doppler effect that expresses the glorious sound of the V8 Twin Turbo engine in motion.”
The race specs have not been finalized. What is known is that Genesis is developing the chassis with Oreca Motorsport. The hybrid powertrain will use a twin-turbo V8.
However, Genesis Magma Racing has already started competing. They are racing in the European Le Mans Series with two of their drivers–Jamie Chadwick and Mathys Jaubert–in an LMP2 entry supported by IDEC Sport. With additional driver Daniel Juncadella, they won in the team’s debut at the 4 Hours of Barcelona.
Want to see the car in person? Head to the New York International Auto Show (April 18-27), where it will be on display.

It'll be hard to miss, that's for sure. Hyundai has done really well with its TCR and WRC programs. We'll see if that carries over to WEC and IMSA GTP. There's no reason to think it wouldn't.
I figured they were serious when they announced the hiring of Pipo Derani and Andre Lotterer to drive it.
I'm so glad to see the manufacturers respond to the new spec like they have. DPi and LMP1 were great, but the manufacturers seem to really love what's going on in IMSA and WEC.
