Hey, thanks! Can deal for GRMers.
The subject line for this one says it all: Beater with a heater. It’s a usable 1997 Toyota Celica ST with 157,000 on the clock. It looks a lot like one that we had in our fleet back in the day.

Always liked the looks of these cars, just a pity that Toyota never saw fit to really give them any love in the US market.
I've never seen a brown sixth gen before. I like it!
My own fifth gen was and still is a great little car, so now I'm wondering about the newer ones.

You're welcome. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of the class.
Speaking of Celicas, I've seen an explosion of older convertible Celicas on CL all of a sudden. I don't know where they all came from.

It can be yours...

Brown can be fun!

Glad I'm not the only one. I looked at it and went "Ummm, that's not brown"

I thought maybe it was going to be the next "Is it black and blue or blue and gold?" thing
Ssshhhhh! I was hoping this would still be around come September. I do keep telling myself sweet deals always show up fairly regularly so good luck in selling the Celica.
And I'm also hoping a '98 SE-R is still knocking about then too.
This Celica color is a miracle. You can go a couple of years between washings and never see the dirt.
