The Rubystone Red/dark blue color combo is striking, but do we like it?
Why settle for a Porsche 944 finished in Guards Red or Alpine White when you could have one painted something a little less common?
According to the seller, this 1991 Porsche 944 is finished in its “rare original colour” of Rubystone Red. And, in case that’s not bold enough for you, the car even features a dark blue interior.
The previous owner of the 944 is said to have owned the car for some 15 years, during which maintenance is said to have been well-recorded.
Find this 1991 Porsche 944 Cabriolet for sale from E&R Classics $32,427.

Mine was triple blue, can't remember the exterior color but navy roof and interior. I want another vert but the prices finally went up; they'd really stayed the same since I sold mine in 2001(?).
"Hey, what do you think of my Rubystone Red Porsche?"
"Dude, your car is purple"
"IT'S RUBYSTONE RED!!"
I like the magenta and I like the blue. Together, I'm not sure.
There is the adage, " if you're gonna have a wild car, have it in a wild color!"
I really like the blue interior. I imagine it paired with a white exterior would be spectacular. White with blue interior was a common color combo in late 80's imports.
In the photo the seats look black. I had to zoom in on the dashboard where I could see both blue and black plastic to really notice the difference.

I'd reserve judgement until I saw it in person, but initial reports are not promising.
It's the combination, though, not the colors themselves. The exterior Ruby color is awesome and the blue interior might be nice in something else.
In reply to John Welsh :
There was a 928 in acid green metallic over a violet or magenta interior like that.

While looking for pictures I came across the reverse???
The white over blue Cab looks good–timeless yet still a period piece.
It's not Rubystone but I saw a beautiful purple-ish 964 Carrera RS at the 75th anniversary C&C at PEC-LA while out there for work. It was a JDM model and had killer multi-color leather factory race seats. There was also a white over blue 930 slantnose cab. :)
