This thing is awesome and i wouldnt have noticed the thread if not for this, so thanks!!
The General Motors G-body may be popular at the drag strip, but using one as a track car is a little more unusual.
That's pretty much the whole point, though, of forum user asphalt_gundam's 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass: "I'm posting what I have done in hopes of helping out others who want to be unconventional at the track and love these cars as much as I do."
What all has been done to this Cutlass? A laundry list of custom fabrication and heavy modifications including a reinforced frame, prepped 350-cubic-inch Olds V8, overhauled suspension and a custom brake setup built from an amalgamation of parts from Wilwood, Corvette, Cadillac and StopTech.
In addititon to the build thread, you can keep up with the build over on asphalt_gundam's Instagram, @asphalt_gundam.
Is this the ultimate form of the G-body? We'll let you decide.
