When user EricD735i reluctantly needed to sell this LS-swapped 1989 Ford Mustang, user Error404 stepped in and save the project.

The heavy lifting of the engine swap had already been completed, but to get the Mustang on track Error404 needed to redo the transmission, clean up the wiring, and fix some rust.

What's next for the LS-swapped Mustang? After Error404 wired up a new engine management system, it's time to rebuild the brake calipers.

It should come as no surprise to the GRMer but this project is an ongoing source of enjoyment for me, one that wouldn't have been possible without GRM connecting me with EricD735i.

For anyone wondering what's next, the MS isn't quite fully running yet but I hope to have that sorted very soon. Brakes are on the schedule this weekend, both a rebuild and an exploratory flush of the Wilwood proportioning valve. And then, if all goes to plan, a day at The FIRM on Tuesday to see what this car feels like at full power.
