On the way there, we spent at least an hour stopped in traffic because some cars and motorcycles tried to occupy the same space at the same time. Our temp gauge climbed a bit higher than normal, but it never got near the red zone.
Our 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera didn’t win best in show at the Lake Mirror Classic, but we had fun showing the car, talking to readers, and enjoying a beautiful day in Lakeland, Florida.
We’ll have show coverage in an upcoming issue of Classic Motorsports. And yeah, we’ll probably be back next year.

Has anyone tried a 911 in SCCA STR?
Mine will and Matt Luckow near me is building one as well. His, mine and GRM's are all the same color!
