Our Porsche didn’t make the trip up to this past weekend’s Speedfest at the Classic Motorsports Mitty, but its owner’s manual did. We returned with some autographs from drivers with connections to Porsche: Bobby Allison (1974 IROC), Elliot Forbes-Robinson (drove Porsches in SCCA, IMSA and LeMans), Tony Adamowicz (1968 Trans-Am champ) and John Morton (IMSA BFGoodrich Porsche 962).
Yeah, we’re geeks.
Some spares and new goodies from Pelican Parts arrived today, too. We now have an extra DME relay and an extra fuel pump relay. We also received our new shifter bushings plus the proper battery tie-down. Our order was separated into two loads, so the rest should arrive tomorrow.
