Update by David S. Wallens to the Honda CRX HF project car
Sep 9, 2009

Sorry, but we’re breaking the first rule of Italian driving: What is behind us does matter, especially when on track.

Sorry, but we’re breaking the first rule of Italian driving: What is behind us does matter, especially when on track.

Even though our CRX HF was originally delivered with just a left-side mirror, it now has a matching one on the other side of the car. Thanks, Dave Hardy, for the hookup.

Luckily it isn't an Italian car so you should be fine. :)

Just think of the added weight and aero drag. Oh, the horror! I kind of liked my Civic DX that had the factory deleted RH mirror, added character...or something like that.

That would have been my first mod. Then again I don't really have a neck, so I find mirrors to be VITAL.

Tom also raised an objection to adding the mirror, but reality is tough to beat. When you're going to be sharing a track with Porsches, Vettes and Factory Fives, knowing what's around you is nice.

I wouldn't call it an objection, but i do like the hf-ness of the single mirror. It's pretty easy to reverse, too, just in case you change your mind in the future.
