The 15x8 Kosei K1s arrived from The Tire Rack. Weighing just 14.5 pounds, these wheels give our 205/50R15 Falkens all of the support that they need, and then some. We’re hoping a tire manufacturer comes out with a Street Touring friendly 225/45R15 tire to properly utilize all of this rim.
One reason that we chose the 15x8 is that it’s only $169 per wheel in this size. That’s downright cheap compared to other wide and light rims like the Volk. This makes the jump to STX a little less expensive and gives us some room in our budget for that NISMO performance differential we installed.
