We loaded up the cage kit from Safe Drives into the Subaru and dropped the car off at BSI Racing for the install. The cage kit has all of the materials needed to make a legal and safe cage, but there is still some fabricating and welding to be done. We’ll be comparing how much the cage will cost in total, to the known cost of a completely custom cage (about $2200)
In addition, we’re having the fabricators at BSI Racing make front and rear tow hooks and a lightbar for some big ol’ Hellas that we have on the way. Our next event is on December 10th and it’s at night. We’ll need those big lights.
