Tires are just as important on the dirt as they are on asphalt. While our Continental ExtremeContact tires are good for lateral (sideways) traction, they don’t have the forward bite necessary to make good rallycross tires.
We sourced a set of 15x7-inch Team Dynamics ProRally rims and four Yokohama Advan A035 rally tires in a medium compound for our rallycross effort. Some preliminary testing showed that off-road traction is greatly improved, with considerably more traction when coming out of corners. We’re looking forward to putting them to the test at our next rallycross.
