Our MINI got a gift this holiday season, a pair of checkered flag mirror caps that replace the Chili Red pieces. They’re easy to install and look cool. We bought ours off eBay from a MINI dealership.
The bottom of our MINI still had mud on it from a trip to a DeLand autocross (the access road for DeLand can be quite muddy) so we jacked up the car and secured it on jackstands. We then used Purple Power degreaser and a pressure washer to completely clean the bottom. The result is a sparkling clean car, underneath and on top.
Our first autocross of the season is this upcoming weekend in Brooksville. We plan on dialing in our new Koni double-adjustable shocks.
