1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

In a shocking turn of events I somehow ended up with a ghia. This car has 40,000 original miles and is 100% original. It has a few dents and some minor rust but is much cleaner then the blue ghia. I am going to spot in what needs to on the paint. I am going to try to clean the original interior but if it is torn a lot I will just replace it with new. I am (big surprise) going to use some of the vintage speed parts left over from the last build and things I have collected since then on the car. I am also planning on dumping it on the ground. She is still resting in the barn that she has been in since 1977 but I hope to get her home in a month or so.

Now that's a 'barn find' if ever I saw one! Your first Ghia was brilliant, and I like your plans for this one.

That great! If you didnt already have a 'vintage speed parts' direction, I'd suggest a subaru engine. I think I'd go for the vintage parts too if I new where to get them.
