Re-dyeing the interior

update image

Last update today, this will catch GRM up with my actual build thread so from now on updates will come as they actually happen. I purchased nearly a complete black interior almost right after I bought the car but never really got around to installing it. Now that I have proper seats and no leaks I figure it’s a good time so I started playing around. I re-dyed the faded black rear hatch light/carpet assembly and replaced my maroon one then I did the same for the passenger a-pillar and roof trim. Everything was turning out well and door panels were the only thing I didn’t have so I figured I’d give it a shot. My red panels are in great shape except for the plastic fading to brown so I took out the passenger one, did some masking, and dyed some of it black (again with the Dupli-Color, this time the Fabric & Vinyl dye). I like the look and will likely match the red to the seats and dye the carpet on the bottoms black.
