1987 BMW 535iS

Silver 1987 535is with the driveline and instrument cluster of a 1988 M5. It has a jet hot coated Euro exhaust header, E24 Euro exhaust (no cat), AL flywheel, Spec clutch & pp, MAF conversion, Ishihara crank scraper. It dynoed 265 hp at 6500 rpm at the wheels, and 240 ft lbs of torque @ 4500 @ the wheels. Not bad for a stock internal engine with 120,000 miles. Hartge springs with Hartge tuned Bilstein Sport shocks. Racing Dynamic 3 way adjustable sway bars, front and rear. UUC (they are a good shop!) tech tip heim joint sway bar ends. AL lower control arms. Spacer under the front struts to correct for bump steer. E34 M5 front brake rotors and calipers. E34 rear discs and calipers. E32 master cylinder. Front strut bar between the shock towers. UUC front camber plates which are polyurathane on metal NOT metal on metal. The batery is moved to the trunk. 16 x 8 BBS 3 piece wheels w/225x50’s or special edition 17 x 8 E34 M5 wheels w/235x 45 or 245x40’s depending on what I find at the time. Occasionally I’ll run 255x40’s on the back. It is a fun to drive sleeper.
