There was a Silver 1999 for sale in the classifieds section of the ‘986 Forum’ for months. It had been partially restored, but still had some issues to resolve. It made me sad to see it, unwanted and unsold, so I made an offer. I bought it unseen and had it shipped from Georgia to Oklahoma. It arrived completely packed with brand new parts, ready to install and a spare set of wheels. It is my daily driver now. Named THAT, since we already had a matching 1999. THIS is a 5-speed, THAT has a Tiptronic (automatic) transmission.
