I haven’t updated this one in quite a while. This was completed just after December 2011. I had a custom carbon fiber intake runner made. This completely removes the necessity to use any of the CIS stock stuff at all. A local machine shop is working with me to get a rail made to fit the stock head.
The total weight savings is roughly 15lbs if I recall correctly. And they look pretty sweet…. Total length with ITBs and runners is 11.3”
The head shown is a junk head I simply use for fitment. Sorry it looks so messy. But you get the idea. ITBs are off of a 2003 GSXR 1000.
