1968 Chevrolet Camaro

23

It’s a street car. A hot rod that gets autocrossed and sees an occasional track day. I’ve owned it for more than 25 years. Chassis consists of a tubular front subframe with vette C4 LCA’s and uprights plus Afco UCA’s and R&P steering from a Ford Fairmont. Rear suspension was just upgraded from leafs to a torque arm with adj. PHB. Has Bilstein shocks, Baer brakes, Kinesis K58 forged 3 piece wheels and Toyo R888’s. Powered by a 406 small block with 10.5:1 CR. Thanks for looking /Steve

great to see one out and doing what it's made for! my father in law has 2 beautifully restored sitting in his garage, maybe for the occasional show what a waste, keep running it, great up grades by the way.

Thanks!! I'll post more update pix. Very proud of the new torque arm rear suspension. It completely transformed the car. Time for more braking and driver skill.

Steve, I saw this car in person at the Rolex 24 a few weeks back and never had a chance to introduce myself. I'm in the process of transforming one of my '69 firebirds into a track car and would love to pick your brain about some of the components you've used. Is it ok to email you?

Did an Evo interior shot find its way in those pictures or have you transplanted that into the F-body? haha
