Little surprised by this one… reverse lockout bushing is a molded plastic composite and the grub screw securing the “T” handle, being only M6, stripped by just looking at it funny. As well did the head of plastic grub screw that takes out slack in the bushing. I have no idea, no matter how much red Loctite you use, how that little grub can secure that “T” handle. Off to AutoZone for heli-coils (a couple sizes up) the Lowe’s for the hardware. I recommend this to any Pro Comp owner before you start. Side note: the spring screw was forgotten and the tail bushing is a PITA to install.
Overall… well worth it!
Scosche dash kit was super easy, plug and play and touch controls are cool. Pioneer MVH-1400NEX interfaces very intuitively with the iPhone, especially my favorite map app, Waze. Haven’t tried talking to Siri yet but is capable.
