1960 Panhard Panhard PL17

Panhard is French made and one of the first car companies in the world. In 1960 the company had been acquired by Citroen, but this model is completely of Panhard design. There are many interesting characteristics including 50 hp twin-cylinder engine with front wheel drive, 4 speed transmission with overdrive, use of torsion bars instead of coil springs (Panhard name to fame), low coefficient of drag, around 2000# curb weight, among other things. This car was my daily driver in 1990, and was stored until 2018 when I decided to restore it.
