The Golf GTI might just be my perfect car. It’s practical - as only a smallish hatchback front driver can be…but it’s also a blast to drive. The turbo four makes more than enough power for my needs…and it still gets over 33 mpg in daily driving. I’ve got almost 55,000 miles on the clock and not a single warranty problem. Plus, because it’s a GTI you get a small bit of German Performance Car street cred.
