Bouba: initially a practical hatch to take my wife and I skiing and hiking that is evolving into a summer HPDE fun-mobile (that can still drive 5 hours to go skiing). Started with an off-the-shelf 91 octane tune from APR that quickly necessitated an upgraded clutch, which has worked flawlessly since install. After that was the quest to reduce shifter slop and missing gear gates, which included overhauling the shifter bushings and engine mounts with notable improvement. Then I quickly reached the limits of the stock brakes after my first HPDE day, so I put on upgraded pads, rotors, and fluid to keep things working. After realizing how crummy all-seasons and heavy stock wheels are, I bought some lighter and wider wheels and some 200tw fun rubber which made a massive difference. Then the stock suspension (99k miles old and beaten over NYC “roads”) gave out and I figured I might as well throw on some coilovers, which have been stellar. Currently, the driver mod is the biggest holdup, so hopefully nothing else in the car needs fixing so I can continue to work on that :)
