Cool, I'm thinking about getting an almost identical car for DD + possibly some weekend fun. :)
Originally picked up to just be a daily driven, reliable car - no matter what the weather. Instead, it opened my eyes to a world of fun and games.. with a fair bit of blood, sweat, and tears involved too. Currently used for daily driving, rallycross, autocross, and the odd track day / driving school. Modifications: Primitive Racing 3/16ths front skid, mini rear skid. Rallyarmor UR mudflaps. FHI 20mm rear sway bar. Hawk HPS pads up front, HP+ in the rear. Firestone Winterforce 205/55-16 on stock wheels. Performance alignment (-1.1 deg camber on front wheels, 0 toe all around)

They're great cars... 4.5 seats, big trunk (for a car of its size), reliable, and amusing too. The 2.5i's are awfully quiet, though, as far as exhaust note goes. Sometimes hard to tell if the car's on, when idling. Some might call that a good thing, though.. very neighborly. Wind noise at highway speeds, on the other hand, is a bit of an issue. As well, the pillarless windows sometimes (usually) don't seal properly... a quick zip up and down (just enough to make them move, not all the way up and down) seals them up again though. Past that, I can't think of any real quirks outside of regular maintenance things people should be checking on anyway.
