1997 Land Rover Range Rover SSE

10

Bright yellow 97 4.6 supercharged SVC by Cameron concepts. Beautiful black leather with yellow piping, burled walnut, remote control stereo. 04-09 A few hours today and she was up and running. Fixed a rigged jump starter wire, changed oil, bled out coolant, still needs plugs and wires. 10-18 Currently getting a new engine, the old one had a holed piston, so she’s going to cost me more. However I have found out it was a custom, to order build, one of 50 built and one of maybe three in the country. 05/07 Ran it to the Mitty, never missed a beat, it was comfortable and fun, everybody saw it, even if they didn’t want to. lol “4.6 SSE Edition (by Cameron Concepts): These were supercharged Range Rovers modified in the U.S. by Cameron Concepts who added Eaton superchargers and modified the hood to clear the supercharger. They were not typical modified Range Rovers since all were authorized by Land Rover Special Vehicles and they had a numbered Land Rover Special Vehicles plaque under the hood. Most (if not all) had custom wheels and many other options such as custom leather trim, extra wood and body color painted plastic. The custom “SSE” logo on the tailgate was created by peeling off the H and replacing it with the S from another new tailgate sticker.”

09/14 Sorted the air suspension out, she starts and runs but has a large oil leak, that is the next thing to be dealt with

This Rover reminds me of the one in Layer Cake. Very sharp Rover.
