Tonight the engine got a scrubbing with degreaser then a hot power wash. Old CAM taken out, cylinders given a light honing then another detergent scrub and hot power wash. The bores were further wiped and oiled and the block dried then prepped and sprayed, now drying in front of the fireplace.
With any luck I’ll have the engine assembled by noon tomorrow…
