Gorgeous creation
I started designing this as an autox and track day toy last summer,tacked the 1st tubes together at christmas. It uses miata hubs,brakes and rear diff along with the miata track width.Its an ‘81” wheelbase with right hand drive to allow the engine to sit where the driver normally would to help with left/right weight bias.It will weigh about 860lbs with all fluids ready to drive and about 65% rear bias. The engine is an ‘02 yamaha R1 F.I bike engine with 150hp stock,its stock with the exception of the header/exhaust and an oil baffle plate in the sump.

this build looks awesome and I'd love to hear and see more about it! I found your build on this site while doing research because I had almost exactly the same idea of building a tube frame for a 1000cc bike engine mated to a miata differental and miata wheel hub parts and so on. if you'd be willing to share any tips or information that might help me in the design and build process when I'm ready to start it, that would be greatly appreciated.
