Oldsmobile 1976 Cutlass S

16

I found this car sitting on the side of a mom and pop used car lot in 2002. It was all original with 50k on the clock. There was some surface rust on the roof and deck lid but otherwise it was solid. I made a deal for it for $800 and took it home. My brother and I stripped all of the trim off and sent it out for paint. In the mean time we went to the junk yard and found a second gen Trans Am WS6 front and rear sway bar and a Hurst Olds steering wheel. Two inch dropped spindles for a second gen F-body bolted right up and Eaton Spring wound custom 2” dropped springs for the rear. Cragar 17”x8” wheels sit on all four corners and 255/50 tires just squeak into the wheel wells without rubbing. I’ll take a better photo as soon as I get a chance.
